Utica Observer-Dispatch

December 17, 2009

The Oneida County Board of Legislators on Wednesday unanimously passed a resolution banning smoking and the use of tobacco products in buildings or on properties that are owned or leased by the county−except in areas designated by the county executive.

Upon first offense, violators will be issued a written warning. Fines will be issued for further offenses as defined in the Oneida County Clean Indoor Air Act Enforcement policy.
